Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Job Type: Full–time
Salary: $15 – $22 an hour
Position available for an administrative/light marketing position for a busy irrigation construction related office in Canton. Work hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00–5:00 pm but can be flexible if need be during slow season. Must be available to work over-time during the week or on weekends to the extent necessary. The position is a seasonal position. Full–time from March thru end of November. Candidate will be eligible for unemployment from December thru February. There will be some work available during the winter months but needs will not be full–time. Looking for someone who is interested in a long–term position and that is not in need of health insurance benefits. Company does not provide health or dental benefits.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Answer high call volume
- Retrieve daily phone messages
- Return calls
- Track calls
- Schedule Appointments
- Ability to perform light marketing a plus, such as social media, online marketing, adwords, direct mailing or any proven methods that could be implemented.
- Prepare customer invoices/billing
- Track receivables
- Follow up on receivables on a weekly basis
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule proposal meetings
- Schedule service technicians daily routes
- Schedule installation schedule
- Call in payroll on a weekly basis
- Respond to online leads
- Respond to e-mail correspondence in a timely manner
- E-mail blasts to customers
- Marketing related activities
Person MUST possess the following skills:
- Attention to detail is a priority
- Must be familiar with the area in order to properly assign technician‘s routes . Must have previously worked in a busy office
- Ability to be a self starter and work independently
- Must have previous scheduling experience
- Must have experience dealing with a very high call volume
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have experience with billing . Must be computer savvy
- Must be extremely trustworthy and dependable with ability to multi–task
Person MUST have experience in the following computer programs: QuickBooks Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Hindsite scheduling software experience a PLUS Background checks will be performed and three references must be made available.
